House of Maria is just a small family-owned gift shop, built for community.
We started House of Maria the way most family things start — over a kitchen table, with too much tea, a few notebooks, and a quiet conviction that our little corner of Tonga deserved a home where faith, family and good things made by good people could live in the same place.
What you find on our shelves and in our drops is what we’d give the people we love: faith apparel we wear ourselves, food and drinks we’d serve at our own table, seasonal pieces for the moments worth marking, and gift sets that say I see you without needing many words.
The shop is the front door. Behind it sits the rest of who we are: a community space (we call it the Hotspot), a video series telling stories from our home and our neighbours, and a toolkit of free resources for anyone trying to start their own thing in Tonga or anywhere across the Pacific.
